Support the London FOOD BANK with a Special Christmas
CD…!

… Earlier this week I was so happy to be one of
almost forty London singing “celebrities”
participating in a very special recording project
supporting the London Food Bank for Christmas..!

“It’s Christmas In London (And Nobody Cares)” is a
“Band-Aid”, “We Are The World” style recording
featuring a group calling themselves “The Local
Celebrities”, which includes such personalities as
actor Jason Rip, poetess Aimee O’Beirn, writer and
publisher Vanessa Brown, magazine publisher Donald
D’Hane and many many more singin’ celebs.!!! The
brainchild of London writer Jason Dickson, “Christmas
In London (And Nobody Cares)” was penned by Jackie K.
and Maureen Sullivan of the Lava Lamps. The “Careless
Band” was directed by London bassist Sookie Mei. The
CD also includes a Gospel B-Side; “I’ve Got A Seat On
The Christmas Bus” an improvised romp we composed on
the spot. The song was played on AM980 this morning!!

The CD will be soon available for about $5.00 at ATTIC
BOOKS at 240 Dundas Street and GROOVES at 353
Clarence. All proceeds from the CD will be donated to
the London Food Bank! Support the Food Bank and get
your copy!

Hey, there’s a YOGA THON goin’ on!! On Friday December
29th at Moksha Yoga there is going to be a 12 hour
YOGA-THON aimed at making money for the PAY IT FORWARD
LONDON campaign. It will start at 8 am and go right
through until 8 pm. There will be a donation jar for
financial contributions and tax receipts will be
available.Pay It Forward London is an exciting project
supported by Moksha Yoga London and to learn more
about it you can go to www.mokshayoga.com. This event
is Jennifer Moore and Erin Deyle’s vehicle to raise
money that they want to use to empower the invisible
poor ( the elderly, the pensioners, the working poor)
at this financially stressful time of year. You can
learn more about them at the Moksha website. If you
have further questions they can be addressed to
Jennifer Moore at jnnfrmr6@aol.com or you can call 519
