You know… I have been running this site for 3 years now. Not well at times, that’s for sure… but I’ve put a bunch of time and effort into it… and you know… I’ve barely slagged on anyone for their music style or their skill level. I have always tried to find the reason for why people make the music they do, because I like people… and you know what I have gotten out of this?
To start off… jaded. From the infamous 20hz debacle, we all know I had a rough time there. What really bothers me most about London, and it makes me happy to have gone through such a hard time to realize this… the people who I talked to every time I went out, the people who I thought were more than just acquaintances… they are just assholes.
On September 11th, I got a half-asses apology in my MySpace account from Riderless Ian saying ‘it was a joke, don’t take it all personal’… of course, I was like WTF… when I looked at the listings on LondonINDIE I notice that they star bookie of London has slotted me in that night. My genre: Snobbery… and something about how I like shit music. So whatever, I asked him what I did to inspire such actions… I bet it was when I let him know he spelled someones name wrong. No response… never a response from him, as he’s way to fucking cool to get back to e-mails of any substance.
Today I get an e-mail, personally addressed to myself, from Mr. Triangulum himself, asking for help promoting his new show… wishing me his best.
I didn’t care enough to make a big deal about the stupid posting he made, nor about the half assed apology… but I just think it’s so aweful to ask me for help and send regards after not even dignifying yourself with a proper response to my asking what the fuck I even did.
Screw you to all the people who stand there and talk to you, ask you for help, and then go home and think ill of you. If you were any sort of civil human being, you’d just steer clear altogether and not patronize only when it benefits yourself. Cowards.
