| :: The Secret Canada Tour with Grassy Knoll and the Magic Bullit and The Lava Lamps @ The London Music Club by: $var (Sunday Grassy Knoll, always so dapper, took the pre-warmed stage and heated it up with tremolo and sonic, acoustic and synth rock. They incited a riotous dance sequence for a good chunk of the set and were joined on stage by League Champs keyboardist, Barry Weatherhead, for antics and yelling. Grassy's show draws out good times, as reflected in the audience in every performance. We danced with girls from Japan, and sang out loud Summer's Gone. Grassy will be playing a series of gigs in Toronto in the next while, as well as New Years Eve at The Wick with The Dropouts and possibly The Lava Lamps. It will be rad... |
